Why Carpet?

Carpet is considered a soft surface and is more supportive than the hard surfaces we sell.  Installation of carpet is far less time consuming and allows an entire house to be completed in less than a day.  We recommended carpet for low traffic areas and in sleeping areas such as bedrooms.  Another use for carpet is to help reduce noise in places such as a media room or the upstairs in a multiple story house.  Carpet is consitered inexpensive comparatively to hardwoods or tile.  Carpet will wear faster than the hard surfaces, but a seven year warranty is the industry standard for most quality carpet styles.

From a design point of view, certain carpet styles are considered modern currently.  Carpet is unmatched when counting color choices, this fact really helps in creating a unique space for your home.

At Discount Flooring Center we work with most major carpet mills which manufacture the carpet. This includes names such as Shaw, Mohawk, and Beaulieu, but we also work with smaller mills such as Southwind to ensure that our customers find what they are looking for when it comes to their carpet.
